Does it sometimes feel like...
"I wish other people could see the dog I see, at home"

-
Walks are a battle rather than a pleasure
-
Your dog is adorable at home but becomes like the "fun police" outside
-
She's so sensitive and easily overwhelmed. It's like she can't switch off
-
He keeps trying to grab your slippers, jeans and ankles, and tries to dive into traffic!
Here's the truth...
You don't have a "problem" dog.
You have a unique dog who needs the right kind of support and I'd love to help you. Border Collies are highly intelligent dogs BUT when you've been bred, for generations, to do ONE job better than any other living creature, being unemployed and living in a town or city can be really tough.
Training that works with your Border Collie, not against them
Positive Training Methods & Breed Knowledge
This means no punishments, fear or force.
I also understand them, as a breed including their genetics, what makes them tick, and all of the behaviours that you might see as a problem in your home.

How I learn about your dog
During our time working together, I'll get to understand the whole dog. I work with you to understand what is making your dog behave in the ways they are. Is it prior experiences? Anxiety, fear, frustration? Something in the environment (home, and outside)? Or is it actually their genetics showing in ways you weren't expecting? When we understand why your dog is behaving in troublesome ways, making things better becomes much easier!
Supporting you AND your dog
I offer a caring and non-judgmental approach because your wellbeing is just as important as your dogs. By understanding you and your needs, I can offer training that is as individual as your dog. No one-size-fits-all approach here!
